Position Summary
Advance ABA Care is seeking a caring, adaptable, and knowledgeable Speech Language Pathologist to provide quality speech and language services to clients with communication, speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing needs.
The Speech Language Pathologist may perform screenings, assess client needs, develop individualized therapy plans, provide treatment, educate families, and document client progress. This role is ideal for a licensed professional who is passionate about helping children and families build communication skills and improve daily functioning.
Essential Responsibilities

Diagnose, treat, and help prevent speech, language, communication, voice, and swallowing disorders.

Create individualized therapy and treatment plans based on client needs.

Perform screenings to detect speech, voice, language, or communication concerns.

Educate clients and family members about speech disorders, communication needs, disabilities, and treatment approaches.

Keep detailed records related to client conditions, care plans, therapies, services, and progress.

Report client progress and current status to families, teachers, medical professionals, or other appropriate parties.

Provide aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Support augmentative and alternative communication systems for clients with severe expressive or language comprehension needs.

Assist clients who need support communicating more effectively.

Collaborate with families, clinicians, teachers, and other service providers.
Qualifications

Active Speech Language Pathologist license required.

Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field required.

Experience with autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, AAC, pediatric therapy, or school-based services preferred.

Strong assessment, treatment planning, documentation, and communication skills.

Ability to adapt treatment plans based on individual client needs.

Must be caring, analytical, resourceful, and professional.

Ability to collaborate with families, clinicians, teachers, and medical professionals.

Must follow ethical, confidentiality, safety, and documentation requirements.

Reliable transportation may be required depending on service setting.

Must be able to complete required onboarding and employment screenings.
