Caregiver / Home Health Aide
Employment Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, PRN, and Flexible Scheduling May Be Available
Work Location: Client homes throughout Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, and surrounding areas
Pay Range: Estimated $15.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience, assignment, schedule, and qualifications

Schedule Needs: Day shifts, evening shifts, overnight shifts, weekend shifts, part-time schedules, full-time schedules, and flexible assignments may be available based on client needs.
Position Summary
KARE Masters Home Health is seeking caring, dependable, and compassionate Caregivers / Home Health Aides to provide one-on-one support to clients in the comfort of their homes. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy helping others, have strong communication skills, and are interested in starting or growing a career in healthcare or home care.
Caregivers assist clients with daily living activities, companionship, safety, personal care needs, and basic household support. Entry-level candidates may be considered, and training may be available for qualified applicants.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal care.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean home environment.
- Support clients with meal preparation and basic nutrition needs.
- Help clients with safe movement, transfers, walking, and fall prevention.
- Remind clients of appointments, routines, and care-related tasks.
- Observe and report changes in client condition or behavior.
- Follow client care plans and instructions from supervisors.
- Communicate respectfully with clients, families, nurses, and office staff.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior caregiving, direct care, home care, or healthcare experience is helpful but not always required.
- Must be dependable, patient, respectful, and willing to learn.
- Must have strong communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently in a home setting.
- Reliable transportation is preferred.
- Must be able to complete required onboarding, background checks, and training.
- CPR / First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain if required.
