Duties
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas, ensuring accurate stock levels and proper materials handling
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including loading, unloading, and verifying inbound and outbound shipments
- Support procurement processes by tracking materials movement and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery
- Utilize warehouse management systems (eSAP) software. Update inventory records and monitor stock status
- Conduct data collection and analysis to identify trends, root causes of stock discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement
- Perform heavy lifting as needed to move materials safely within the warehouse environment 15-20 pounds
Qualifications
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is highly preferred
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles, including inventory control, procurement, and logistics
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (eSAP), and materials handling equipment like forklifts (certification preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on root cause analysis and process improvement strategies
