Job Description
B.E.A.M. Industries is seeking dependable and motivated individuals to join our team as Food Production Associates at our Linwood location. In this role, you will help produce high-quality food products while supporting food safety, quality, efficiency, and sanitation standards throughout the manufacturing process.
Working in a fast-paced production environment, Food Production Associates are responsible for operating equipment, monitoring product quality, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with food industry regulations and safety standards. Starting Wages
1st Shift: $13.75 per hour + $1.00 Attendance Bonus = $14.75 per hour
2nd Shift: $15.13 per hour (10% shift premium) + $1.00 Attendance Bonus = $16.13 per hour
3rd Shift: $15.82 per hour (15% shift premium) + $1.00 Attendance Bonus = $16.82 per hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor food processing machinery and equipment while ensuring safe and efficient operation.
- Follow FDA regulations, HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) standards.
- Assist with the preparation, processing, packaging, and labeling of food products according to established procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas by adhering to sanitation protocols and GMP requirements.
- Perform quality checks throughout the production process and document any deviations or concerns.
- Support inventory management by handling raw materials, supplies, and finished goods accurately.
- Assist with troubleshooting equipment issues to support continuous production flow.
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment as authorized.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food manufacturing or food processing is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP principles, CGMP standards, and food safety practices is highly desirable.
- Mechanical aptitude or experience working with manufacturing equipment is a plus.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills within the food manufacturing industry.
