Job Description
B.E.A.M. Industries is seeking skilled and dependable Forklift Operators to join our team in the Bridgeport area. This position is responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials, products, and inventory throughout warehouse and distribution operations while supporting shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment activities.
The ideal candidate will have experience operating industrial vehicles, a strong commitment to workplace safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Full-time opportunities are available.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, transport, and store materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform order picking using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Assist with shipping and receiving operations by verifying inbound and outbound shipments.
- Inspect shipments and materials to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to identify equipment concerns and report issues promptly.
- Perform routine forklift inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
- Stack pallets, organize inventory, and maintain orderly storage areas.
- Support warehouse distribution activities and material handling operations.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to improve workflow efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and warehouse procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, distribution centers, or material handling environments preferred.
- Valid forklift certification required.
- Strong understanding of loading and unloading procedures.
- Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems preferred.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and warehouse safety practices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation
- Entry-level candidates with 0–2 years of experience start at $14.00 per hour.
- Candidates with 2 or more years of experience start at $15.00 per hour.
- Additional pay increases may be available upon completion of required certifications and demonstrated performance.
