Join a leading automotive diagnostic team supporting global vehicle platforms. This position supports Diagnostic Service Products (DSP), responsible for the design, development, and validation of advanced diagnostic tools used across dealership networks worldwide.
We are hiring a Validation Technician to perform Over-the-Air (OTA) and remote diagnostics validation in a garage and test vehicle environment. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with automotive diagnostic repair experience seeking hands-on work with cutting-edge vehicle technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform on-vehicle validation testing using diagnostic tools and fleet test vehicles
Validate that FDRS tools retrieve software files correctly following OTA events
Execute and document remote diagnostic test procedures as part of a 2-3 person validation team
Verify remote diagnostic functionality meets engineering design requirements
Collaborate closely with engineers to provide technical feedback and ensure diagnostic accuracy
Document test results in database systems
Required Skills:
Strong automotive diagnostic repair knowledge
Ability to interpret diagnostic tool data from an engineering perspective
Experience using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DVOM, fuel flow checkers, injector testers, and specialty hand tools
Ability to follow garage safety protocols
Willingness to work onsite full-time in a garage environment
*Experience with Ford diagnostic tools is a plus.
