Office Professional - Dental Hygiene Clinic & HW Division

Position Summary:
The successful candidate must demonstrate experience, skills, and commitment to fostering an environment of belonging, diversity, equity, and inclusion in students, faculty, and staff.
The two primary functions of this position are to support the dental clinic and to provide support to other Health and Wellness division programs. This includes facilitating and meeting the needs of 60+ dental hygiene and assisting students, managing dental office operations, assisting patients, and providing support to the associate dean and faculty in multiple areas. This position ensures a productive working environment while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:
Dental Clinic Support:
Students:

Assist students with dental software for patient scheduling.

Help students meet program requirements and follow policies.

Provide guidance on concerns and problems.
Communication:
-
Explain policies and procedures clearly to students and patients.

Resolve issues and maintain professional communication with medical providers.

Assist students with documentation and protocol adherence.
Patients:
Budget & Inventory:

Maintain inventory and order supplies.
-
Coordinate repairs and maintenance for the dental clinic.

Handle patient billing, fee collection, and deposits.

Health & Wellness Division Office Support:
Technological Support:
Office Management:

Order and manage office supplies.

Operate and troubleshoot office equipment.

Maintain electronic and paper filing systems.
Communication & Information Resource:

Serve as a resource for faculty, staff, students, and the community.

Handle inquiries requiring broad knowledge of College operations.
Divisional Support:
-
Provide support to the Associate Dean, Program Coordinators, full-time and adjunct faculty.

Assist with classroom equipment, supplies, and special events.
Faculty Support:
-
Provide complex and confidential support for faculty.

Assist with division activities such as wellness programs, accreditations, pinning ceremonies, and special events.
Required Qualifications:
-
Specific certification, training, apprenticeship, or experience in addition to a high school diploma or GED.

One to three years of position-related experience.

Dental or receptionist experience.
-
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
-
Knowledge of Eaglesoft.

Excellent communication skills.
