Lead Office Professional/Test Proctor

Position Summary:

This position provides direct support for the Testing Center Coordinator, performing complex, responsible, and confidential duties. The role serves as the lead contact and resource for Testing Center staff under the Coordinator’s direction. A broad-based knowledge of college and departmental policies, procedures, and operations is essential to critically assess situations and act within established guidelines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:
Support Testing Center Manager and Coordinator:

Provide administrative support for Testing Center operations.

Schedule, set up, administer, and support testing on main campus, at Learning Centers, and off-campus sites (valid driver’s license required).
Coordinate Academic, Business/Industry, and Certification Testing:

Manage Testing Center calendars and maintain departmental forms, contact lists, filing systems, and statistical data logs.

Handle billing for specialized exams, process fee transactions and faculty payments.

Post scores/grades to student records and manage daily paperwork for Testing Center operations.
Mentor and Support Test Proctor Staff (In Coordinator’s Absence):

Serve as a mentor and resource to Testing Center staff, providing problem-solving, technology assistance, and guidance.

Monitor equipment and conduct routine system checks on testing software.
Assist Testing Center Stakeholders:
Note: Testing Center staff may NOT be currently enrolled in undergraduate classes or pursuing an undergraduate degree at any post-secondary institution.
Required Qualifications:

Minimum Technology Skills.

Associate degree or equivalent knowledge and skills (Office Professions/Office Assistant, Office Specialist, Administrative Assistant).

1 to 3 years of position-related experience.
