Responsible for developing and maintaining backend services using .NET technologies and frontend applications using Angular; design, build, and optimize RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core within a .NET 8 environment; implement scalable, maintainable, and secure application architectures following industry best practices; participate in full SDLC activities including requirements analysis, technical design, development, testing, and deployment; conduct detailed design and code reviews, ensuring adherence to engineering standards and performance expectations; collaborate with cross functional teams to define technical requirements and propose innovative solutions; identify inefficiencies in existing systems and processes; recommend and implement improvements; utilize and apply knowledge of .NET Core/Framework technologies, Web API, Angular front end, Azure Application Insights, GitHub, TFS, Postman, Octopus Deployment, Windows Services, LINQ, SDLC, .NET technologies, JavaScript, jQuery, Azure DevOps, Asynchronous programming, Web Services, WCF, OOPS (Object-Oriented Programming Structure), Agile project methodologies, and API Management Gateway to perform assigned duties; challenge assumptions, propose alternative approaches, and contribute to strategic technical decision making; and troubleshoot complex technical issues across the application stack and provide long term remediation strategies.
Location: Troy, Michigan and multiple undetermined worksites throughout the US;
Salary: $147,077 per year (Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), STD/LTD, life insurance, and EAP)

Education: Bachelors – Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Applied Computer Science, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree).
Training: None
Experience: Five (5) years in the position above, as a Senior Software Engineer, as a Technology Analyst, as a Technical Lead, as an Assistant Consultant, as a Technology Lead, as a Software Engineer, or in a related occupation.
