Responsible for designing and documenting high level and detailed solution architectures for enterprise applications, including component diagrams, domain models, logical information models, service sequence diagrams, activity diagrams, deployment diagrams, and data mappings; develop integration strategies for applications and platforms, ensuring security, performance, scalability, and reliability across global, multi park environments; create and maintain API specifications, including OpenAPI/Swagger documentation, to support consistent and standardized service design; provide technical support throughout the software development lifecycle, guiding engineering teams during design, development, integration, and deployment phases; evaluate business and technical requirements to design cloud native, microservices based solutions using modern architectural patterns; maintain deep knowledge of global systems and serve as a subject matter expert for architecture, integration, and platform capabilities; support implementation of Kubernetes based container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevOps practices; produce technical documentation, including diagrams, specifications, models, and architectural guidelines, to support development and operational teams; participate in architectural reviews, solution assessments, and technical decision making processes for new and existing systems; utilize and apply knowledge of Azure Data Factory, GCP, CI/CD pipelines, APIs, Terraform, Python, Java, DevOps practices, Git-based workflows, Kubernetes, AWS, RAG Architectures, and Retail POS systems to perform assigned duties; and provide guidance on cloud platform usage, including AWS, Azure, and GCP, to ensure solutions meet organizational standards for maintainability and long term sustainability.
Location: Troy, Michigan and multiple undetermined worksites throughout the US;
Salary: $192,400 per year (Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), STD/LTD, life insurance, and EAP)
Education: Bachelors – Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Applied Computer Science, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree).

Experience: Five (5) years in the position above, as a Senior Software Engineer, as an Associate - Projects, as a Sr. Associate – Projects, as a Manager – Projects, as a Sr. Software Consultant, or in a related occupation.
