Position Summary
Chitter Chatter Pediatric Therapy is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated individuals to join its growing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) team as a Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
Behavior Technicians provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). The primary goal is to help children improve communication, behavior, social interaction, independence, and daily living skills through evidence-based interventions.
Essential Job Duties
- Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy services to pediatric clients
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a supervising BCBA
- Teach communication, behavioral, social, academic, and daily living skills
- Utilize positive reinforcement and behavior intervention strategies
- Collect accurate behavioral and treatment data during each therapy session
- Document client progress and complete required session notes
- Assist with behavioral assessments and treatment implementation
- Collaborate with BCBAs, Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and caregivers
- Maintain client confidentiality and professional documentation
- Participate in required staff meetings, trainings, and continuing education
Work Environment
Services may be provided in:
- Chitter Chatter clinic locations
- Client homes
- Community settings
- Schools (when applicable)
This is an active position requiring employees to:
- Sit on the floor
- Kneel
- Lift up to approximately 50 pounds
- Transition quickly between sitting and standing
- Walk, jog, or run as needed while working with children.
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid Driver's License
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills
- Passion for working with children
Preferred
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification
- CPR / First Aid Certification
- Experience working with:
- Children
- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Developmental disabilities

Candidates hired without RBT certification are generally expected to complete certification within the first six months of employment.

Pay
Estimated Pay Range
$15.00–$26.00 per hour (Employer-posted range for ABA Behavior Technician positions).
Additional market data indicates:
