Position Summary
Karing Kids is seeking caring, dependable, and energetic Early Intervention Behavior Technicians / ABA Technicians to provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis therapy to children ages 2–12 diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities.
Behavior Technicians work directly with children in structured clinic and classroom settings under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst or qualified clinical supervisor. This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy working with children, are patient and reliable, and are interested in gaining hands-on experience in behavioral health, autism services, early childhood development, education, or healthcare.
Entry-level candidates may be considered and must be willing to complete required training.
Key Responsibilities

Provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy to children ages 2–12.

Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a supervising clinician.

Teach communication, social, play, emotional regulation, classroom readiness, and daily living skills.

Support children with following directions, transitioning between activities, and participating appropriately in clinic or classroom settings.

Help clients learn positive and functional ways to communicate wants, needs, and feelings.

Reinforce appropriate behaviors and skill development using approved ABA strategies.

Collect and record accurate data on behaviors, skill progress, and treatment goals during each session.

Monitor client progress and share observations with supervising clinicians.

Maintain a positive, safe, structured, and engaging learning environment.

Collaborate with families, clinical staff, and classroom staff to support consistency across services.

Follow company policies, ethical guidelines, safety procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
Work Environment
Behavior Technicians may provide services in multiple onsite settings depending on client needs, schedule, and skill level.
Clinic-Based Services

Classroom-Based Services

Support children within classroom or learning environments.

Qualifications

Experience working with children is preferred.

Experience with autism, ABA, childcare, education, healthcare, or behavioral health is helpful but not required.

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Must be patient, dependable, professional, and energetic.

Must be comfortable working with young children in a hands-on environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.

Must be able to follow treatment plans and accept feedback from supervisors.

Must have reliable transportation and punctual attendance.

Must be willing to complete required 40-hour training.

Must be able to follow safety, confidentiality, and ethical guidelines.

Must be able to pass any required background checks or employment screenings.

Physical Requirements
