Position Summary

ImageFIRST is seeking dependable Production Associates to join its healthcare laundry production team in Livonia. Production Associates work together to sort, process, inspect, package, and prepare healthcare linens and garments for delivery to medical facilities.

This position requires employees to remain standing throughout the shift, work safely in a fast-paced production environment, and follow infection-prevention, quality, and OSHA procedures.

Essential Job Duties

• Sort soiled linens and garments by product type

• Prepare and load clean products according to delivery-route needs

• Wash and process medical, hospitality, and food-service garments and linens

• Inspect finished linens for quality

• Fold, package, and prepare products for delivery

• Follow infection-prevention and contamination-control procedures

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Operate production and laundry equipment safely

• Follow OSHA and company safety standards

• Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures and shut down equipment when not in use

• Complete required safety training and standard operating procedures

• Perform additional production duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills

• Authorization to work in the United States

• Ability to provide two valid forms of identification upon hire

• Ability to stand for the entire shift

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

• Ability to follow safety, quality, and production procedures

• Flexibility to assist with special requests and changing production needs

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
