Civil CAD Designer / Land Development Designer
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Civil CAD Designer to support land development projects across commercial, residential, and educational sectors. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working both independently and collaboratively to produce high-quality construction drawings and technical designs.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare construction drawings using AutoCAD.
Perform detailed design calculations and quantity take-offs.
Assist with land development projects for a variety of clients.
Collaborate with engineers and project teams while managing assigned work independently.
Conduct occasional site visits as needed.
Qualifications
5-10 years of experience in civil design or land development.
Strong proficiency with AutoCAD (required).
Experience with Civil 3D (preferred).
Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
Microsoft Word and Excel experience (preferred).
High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
Work Schedule
Hybrid schedule after the introductory period: 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
Monday through Friday.
Typical hours are 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch break.
Occasional overtime may be available and is paid at 1.5x the regular hourly rate.
