We're seeking a Tooling & Die Development Engineer to play a critical role in supporting tooling design, build, and launch readiness within a fast-paced, high-impact manufacturing environment. Pay: $46.06/hr

What You'll Do
Support tooling design reviews to ensure manufacturability and robust production processes
Monitor tool construction progress and ensure alignment with program requirements and standards
Coordinate tool tryout activities and support die prove-out to achieve dimensional quality and run-at-rate targets
Identify and resolve tooling issues impacting timing, quality, or manufacturability
Support build events, PSW readiness, and key launch milestones
Track tooling risks, including Yellow Items, and drive resolution activities
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, program management, and tool shops to ensure tooling readiness
Document tooling concerns and support corrective action implementation
What You Bring
Strong background in stamping tooling construction, tryout, and die development
Experience working with automotive tool shops and production stamping processes
Solid understanding of die build, tryout, and production readiness requirements
Ability to identify tooling risks and support resolution strategies
Experience working within structured tooling or launch processes (such as STS or similar frameworks)
Strong technical problem-solving skills and clear communication abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering (or related field)
Experience supporting automotive program launches
Familiarity with global tool shop operations
Understanding of dimensional validation and part quality requirements
Exposure to continuous improvement or Lean manufacturing methodologies
