Location: Sterling Heights, MI
Pay Rate: $42.31 per hour
What You'll Do
Support the Engineering Manage-the-Change (MTC) Process and plant change management activities
Initiate and lead continuous improvement and Six Sigma projects
Prepare and support Project Writing to secure capital funds for cost-saving and wellness initiatives
Manage project budgets, timelines, and cross-functional deliverables
Support minor launches, engineering changes, and product updates
Lead and support Plant Quality Initiatives and corrective action projects
Provide strong Process Engineering support including uptime optimization, troubleshooting, and operational improvements
Maintain and update engineering documentation (Process Sheets, PFMEA, DCP, OIS-JSA, Visual Aids, etc.)
Pull together cross-functional teams for complex engineering events-acting as a positive leader and change agent
Demonstrate Ford OS behaviors: Excellence, Focus, Collaboration
Conduct AutoCAD facility layout work, maintain the Vault layout database, and manage plant layout changes
Support manufacturing project management for machining and assembly systems
Assist with costing/quoting and cost studies to evaluate engineering changes
(Bonus) Drive innovation initiatives-3D printing, robotics, AI vision, Automation/Digital workflows
