A major, industry-leading automotive manufacturer is seeking an HR Attendance & Compliance Coordinator to support daily workforce operations at a large, fast-paced facility. Hours & Pay
Pay: Approximately $23.66 per hour
Schedule: Must be available for morning, night, and weekend shifts based on the assigned crew. This role is fully on-site.

Key Responsibilities
Develop expertise in attendance-related contract language and HR policies
Use multiple systems to investigate attendance concerns and verify employee records
Generate daily attendance reports and deliver updates to supervisors and leadership
Conduct daily attendance meetings with employees and union representatives
Administer corrective discipline documentation when appropriate
Code attendance exceptions such as personal days, bereavement, jury duty, medical leaves, and FMLA
Audit attendance and tardiness coding for accuracy
Serve as a policy expert for line management regarding attendance rules
Maintain all required FMLA documentation and coordinate with the medical department
Collaborate with labor relations to resolve sensitive issues
Identify opportunities to streamline attendance and HR support processes
Build strong working relationships with employees, supervisors, and union stakeholders
Support payroll-related tasks as needed
What You'll Bring
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, with intermediate/advanced Excel skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
High attention to detail, strong analysis skills, and the ability to multitask effectively
Problem-solving mindset and outstanding organizational habits
High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in HR preferred
Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment is a plus
Ability to demonstrate leadership, conflict management, and professionalism
