Position Overview
We are seeking a Strategic Account Manager to lead customer engagement and drive profitable growth. This role will serve as a key connector between sales, operations, and engineering—ensuring that customer needs are met with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a strong understanding of industrial sales and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Discovery
Lead conversations with customers to uncover operational needs, challenges, and growth opportunities.

Account Strategy & Development
Create and execute strategic account plans focused on long-term value, repeat business, and profitability.

Proposal & Quoting Leadership
Collaborate with estimating and engineering teams to deliver accurate, timely, and customer-focused proposals.

Process Optimization
Identify inefficiencies in quoting, order entry, and fulfillment. Drive scalable improvements across departments.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as a liaison between sales, operations, and engineering to align expectations and delivery capabilities.

Customer Experience Elevation
Champion initiatives that improve responsiveness, transparency, and consistency throughout the customer lifecycle.

Market Intelligence & Reporting
Monitor industry trends, customer behaviors, and competitive offerings. Report on account performance and margin health.
Skills
- Strong relationship-building and strategic communication skills

Knowledge
- Sales, operations, or supply chain management in industrial/manufacturing environments
- Quoting processes, pricing strategies, and margin analysis
