Location: Bellamy Creek Correctional Facility – Ionia, MI
Pay: $55.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM | No weekends or holidays

Overview:
Care One Inc., a trusted Michigan-based staffing agency for over 30 years, is seeking a Master’s-level Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to provide mental health services at Bellamy Creek Correctional Facility. This role plays a critical part in supporting the well-being and rehabilitation of incarcerated individuals.
Responsibilities:

Evaluate referrals and assess treatment needs of incarcerated individuals with mental illness or disabilities

Facilitate group therapy sessions, including psychoeducation, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychosocial skills training

Deliver specialized therapy including Sex Offender Treatment, Assaultive Offender Therapy, and Substance Use Disorder Treatment

Provide individual therapy as outlined in treatment plans

Conduct re-entry assessments and assist with post-release transition planning

Monitor behavior and recommend adjustments to treatment levels as needed

Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment team

Coordinate case management to ensure care aligns with goals and standards

Maintain thorough documentation and respond to correspondence in accordance with facility procedures
Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution

Active Michigan license as an LCSW, LPC, or Psychologist

Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)

Proficient in English with strong clinical assessment and documentation skills

Ability to work with diverse populations and within a team setting
