The Position
Under the direction of the Program Manager, the Birthday Party Host is
responsible for the high-quality programs, customer service and participant engagement. This individual must maintain high personal standards and adhere to and carry out the mission of the Greater Midland Community Center.
Major Job Responsibilities
? Ensure high quality parties that are results-based driven, with proper planning and engagement.
? Work cooperatively and professionally with all party participants, parents, Greater Midland Staff and Volunteers.
? Ensure that facilities and equipment are secured for each party and ready on time.
? Ensure that character development is present in all programs (caring, honesty, respect, responsibility).
? Ensure that Greater Midland’s Values are present.
? Consistently demonstrate leadership behaviors aligned with Greater Midland’s Values.
? Direct party participants, parents and guests to their designated rental room/activity room.
? Safely lead party participants through activities.
? Assist party guests if they need direction or help.
? Confirm parties are paid in full, including any additional participants.
? Communicate effectively with Member Service staff, Housekeeping, and/or Building Supervisor.
Qualifications
? Excellent people skills; ability to work with a wide variety of personalities.
? Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to assist guests to their designated rental room. Ability to lift
a minimum of 20 lbs.
Salary
Hourly wage of $11.48-12.48 per hour
