Senior Full Stack Developer
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Full Stack Developer with a strong technical foundation and a passion for solving complex problems. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of IT experience, including significant experience in full-stack software development, cloud-native architectures, and modern DevOps practices.
This individual should possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills, thrive in a collaborative environment, contribute to architectural decisions, and drive the delivery of scalable, high-quality software solutions across the full technology stack.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications across frontend, backend, and database layers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Build and consume RESTful microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop modern, responsive user interfaces using React (Redux preferred) or Angular, along with HTML5 and CSS.
- Design and implement cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Leverage GCP services including:
- Compute Engine
- Cloud Run
- Cloud SQL
- Cloud Storage
- Pub/Sub
- Cloud Functions
- Memory Store for Redis
- Application Monitoring / Log Analytics
- Implement and manage infrastructure using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
- Perform Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), regression testing, and performance testing.
- Implement UI and end-to-end automated testing using frameworks such as:
- Selenium
- Cypress
- Playwright
- Optimize application performance, including JVM tuning and profiling.
- Ensure code quality through best practices, automated testing, peer reviews, and maintainability standards.
- Contribute to system architecture, technical strategy, and technology selection decisions.
- Partner with Product Managers to break complex business requirements into incremental, production-ready user stories.
- Establish development best practices that maximize efficiency and minimize risk.
- Execute API Load & Performance (L&P) testing for APIs and application modules.
- Utilize DevOps and software delivery tools including:
- Jenkins
- Tekton
- SonarQube
- Checkmarx
- FOSSA
- GitHub
