Job Description:
Role: DevOps Engineer
Location: Hybrid - 4 days/week onsite
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Description:
The DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications and products throughout the full software development lifecycle.
This role focuses on building scalable solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering customer-focused software using modern development practices and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Develop full-stack solutions including frontend interfaces, backend services, APIs, and microservices.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, designers, and engineering teams to deliver software solutions.
- Design software architecture, integration strategies, deployment approaches, and technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain secure, scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.
- Implement software testing strategies, CI/CD practices, and Agile/XP development methodologies.
- Optimize application performance and adopt emerging technologies to improve engineering efficiency.
- Support security practices including encryption, authentication, and data protection.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide technical guidance to engineering teams.

Preferred Technical Skills:
- Strong experience with Java (Spring Boot), Go, or Python.
- Front-end development experience with React, TypeScript, or Angular.
- REST API development and API Gateway experience (Apigee preferred).
- Security protocols including OAuth2 and JWT.
- Experience with ETL/ELT data pipelines, GCS, BigQuery, and Power BI/DAX.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and containerized environments (Kubernetes/GKE).
- Experience with DevOps metrics, including DORA metrics.
- Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration, and Agile/XP practices.
Experience Required:
- Engineer 3 level.
- 6+ years of IT experience.
- 4+ years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least two programming languages or advanced proficiency in one programming language.
Education Required:
Preferred Education:
- Master’s Degree preferred.
