Forklift Operator
Shift: 2nd Shift/3rd Shift
Pay: $18.35/ hr and up
Respnsible for safely operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, load, unload, and store goods in warehouses, manufacturing facilities, construction sites, or distribution centers.
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will operate forklifts to transport materials efficiently, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure compliance with workplace safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and storage racks.
- Transport materials to designated storage or production areas.
- Inspect forklifts before each shift and report any mechanical issues.
- Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and complete required documentation.
- Stack and organize products in warehouse locations.
- Assist with picking, packing, and shipping orders as needed.
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
- Work collaboratively with warehouse staff and supervisors to meet production and shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Previous forklift operating experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Basic math and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
