Job Description
We are seeking an experienced technical leader to oversee the development and integration of Basic Software (BSW) for MPU/SoC based High Performance Controllers. Oversee progress of planned work items and coordinate BSW releases. Successful delivery the planned content and deep dive into technical details as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Function as the primary interface with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on technical objectives and program goals.
Collaborate with Technical Program Managers to align timing and content for each release.
Manage and track deliverables, ensuring scope, and timelines are consistently met.
Monitor project progress using dashboards and provide accurate data for project reviews.
Plan and coordinate releases, lead Start of Release (SoR) / End of Release (EoR) activities.
Ensure release quality and maturity by working closely with validation and quality teams.
Present project updates to senior leadership on a regular basis and as required.
Represent BSW during internal quality audits, review findings with development teams, and drive process improvement initiatives.
Identify and resolve development blockers, escalate risks with impact assessments, and maintain risk items in tools such as RTC or JIRA.
Lead cross-functional triage for critical issues, ensuring accountability and effective corrective actions.
Drive resolution and root cause analysis for software defects or integration challenges, coordinating across teams for timely closure.
Be prepared to engage at a technical level when necessary, including reviewing code, requirements, test cases, and test results.
Provide technical direction and guidance to team leads and engineers to resolve complex issues and maintain project momentum.

Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in embedded software development for automotive or real-time systems with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on software development experience. Including a minimum 3 years of experience in technical project management or leading complex projects.
Experience in any one of the following areas: Adaptive AUTOSAR Platform (ara::com, SOME/IP, manifests), automotive cybersecurity features (secure boot, key/certificate management), bootloader development/integration on multicore SoC/MPUbased ECUs, and foundational knowledge of embedded OS / hypervisor environments.
Experience with ASIL level software development.
Direct experience in real-time embedded systems including real-time OS products such as QNX and Momentics
Experience developing embedded C and C++17/C++20 applications.
Experience with python and bash script development
Experience with Git for version control and branching strategies.
Experience working with Tier 1 suppliers and managing deliverables across multiple stakeholders and proven ability to lead ECU projects involving multiple OEMs.
Knowledge of automotive software development best practices.
Proven ability to ensure compliance with standards such as AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, ASPICE, and MISRA C.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience in developing Linux or RTOS embedded systems drivers.
Direct experience with embedded Linux command line development and debugging methods.
Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and release management.
Practical knowledge of diagnostic protocols such as UDS and DoIP.
