About the Opportunity
TEKsystems is hiring Claims Customer Service Representatives to support a high-volume call center focused on homeowner insurance claims. This role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, and the ability to manage escalated customer interactions professionally.
Schedule & Training
- Training: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (fully onsite)
- Post-Training Shifts:
- 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM OR
- 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- Hybrid eligibility after 30 days of taking calls (based on performance)
- Must meet 95% quality and 85% adherence standards
Key Responsibilities
- Handle 40–50 inbound calls daily (claims-related inquiries)
- Assist customers with homeowner insurance claims and repair status
- Navigate multiple systems to research and resolve issues
- Handle escalated and high-emotion calls professionally
- Serve as liaison between homeowner, lender, and third-party partners
- Document all interactions and updates in claim systems
- Conduct outbound follow-ups as needed
- Provide accurate, timely information and resolutions
Qualifications (Required)
- 1–2+ years of call center experience (claims, insurance, or escalations preferred)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure conversations professionally
- Typing speed of at least 35 WPM
- Proficiency with Windows-based systems
- Reliable transportation
- Active cellphone (for multi-factor authentication)
Preferred Qualifications
- Insurance, mortgage, or claims experience
- Experience with Medicaid/Medicare customer populations
- Bilingual (Spanish)
