HTC Global Services, Inc. has an opening for the position of Solution Architect (Ref# SOLA15MP).
Work Location: Troy, MI and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
Job Duties: Define, design, and deliver architecture-based solutions to application development projects that align to client patterns and standards for enterprise systems. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design high-level and detailed technical solutions. Create architecture diagrams, system models, and documents to communicate design to the development team. Work with business stakeholders, project managers, and other technical teams to ensure alignment and effective delivery of solutions. Define overall system architecture, including selection of components, frameworks, and patterns. Provide guidance on coding standards, best practices, and ensure adherence to architectural principles. Review and approve code changes to ensure alignment with architecture. Develop and implement DevSecOps strategy aligned with business goals and security requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize security initiatives and ensure alignment with development goals. Define security metrics and establish benchmarks to measure effectiveness of DevSecOps practices. Design and implement secure architecture patterns for cloud-based and on-premises applications. Review and recommend tools and technologies that enhance security across development lifecycle. Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) security best practices. Implement security automation throughout CI/CD pipelines. Integrate security tools and processes into the development lifecycle. Automate security testing and validation processes to detect and remediate vulnerabilities. Develop and maintain processes for monitoring and responding to security incidents. Implement logging and monitoring solutions to detect anomalous activities and potential threats. Lead incident response activities including root cause analysis and remediation planning. Educate development teams on secure coding practices and DevSecOps principles. Provide guidance on security policies, requirements, and standards. Conduct risk assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies. Work with audit teams to prepare for security audits and assessments. Foster collaboration between development, operations, and security teams to promote shared responsibility. Use of Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Python, Angular, HTML, JavaScript, NiFi, Jenkins, GitLab, Kubernetes, MySQL, Oracle, GCP (Google Cloud Platform), and AWS.
Requirements: This position requires a Master’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation including Solution Manager, Technical Lead, or related experience. Will accept a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of progressive experience in lieu of the required education and experience. Position requires 2 years of experience with DevSecOps, Java, Spring Boot, Python, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and GCP. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein. 40hrs/week.
