4 farmworkers are needed in Macomb and Clare Counties, Michigan to work with a variety of greenhouse and horticultural crops, including bedding plants, roses, perennials, herbs, vegetables, poinsettias, mums, hanging baskets, and other nursery plants. Duties include planting, transplanting, trimming, weeding, tagging, maintaining, harvesting, preparing arrangements, and general greenhouse labor. Workers will move plants and materials weighing up to 60 pounds, operate farm equipment such as tractors, gators, and skid steers, and use hand tools including shovels, hoes, shears, and knives. Additional tasks may include constructing trellises, repairing greenhouse structures, irrigation work, applying herbicides, and general cleanup. A minimum of 3 months of verifiable commercial agriculture or horticulture experience is required. Workers must be able to perform physical labor, follow instructions, and may drive employer-provided vehicles if legally eligible in Michigan. Hourly pay is provided.
