Position Summary
We are seeking a fulltime Project Management Intern for Summer 2026.
This internship program is intended to provide entry-level exposure and training in project planning, scheduling, resource alignment, risk management, change management, and other project management related tasks. The Intern will have the opportunity to engage with cross-functional teams including (but not limited to), engineering, operations, lean, finance, and business intelligence to support project success and develop project management skills.
Essential Functions
Under direct supervision, support the preparation and control of project plans, including schedules and resource assignments. Ensure cross-functional input to obtain accurate and real-time project performance tracking.
Help recognize project plan variances, conduct variance analysis, and identify mitigation tasks.
Help analyze and interpret data to conduct project risk management, including identification and mitigation of risks.
Provide input for program reviews and customer meetings.
Take necessary steps to safeguard company proprietary and competitive information.
Participate in Kaizen events and High-Performance Teams (HPT's)
Required Qualifications
Junior or Senior pursing a bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related program field.
Proficiency with project management software including Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and other related business tools.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
A strong work ethic, proactive, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Pride of ownership in all that you do, a passion for excellence.
Ability to effectively understand and apply fundamental problem solving and analytical skills to analyze data and identify issues.
Ability to take on challenges and generate innovative solutions, both independently and collaboratively.
Willingness to listen attentively and confidently contribute your ideas within a team setting.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in data analysis using tools such as Excel, SQL, PowerBI, Python etc.
Relevant experience (e.g., through coursework, volunteer work, or previous internships) can be beneficial.
Familiarity with implementing Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools for fast data analytics and business process development.
