Position Overview
The Nutrition Specialist provides outstanding customer service while helping customers navigate their nutritional needs, supplements, vitamins, and natural products. This role also supports daily department operations including stocking, rotation, cleanliness, and customer education.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Sales

Deliver exceptional and consistent customer service

Assist customers with nutrition questions and product recommendations

Respond to customer needs promptly and courteously

Answer phones, pages, and in-store inquiries in a professional manner

Proactively suggest products based on customer preferences and needs
Department Operations

Stock shelves and ensure accurate product rotation

Maintain full departmental cleanliness: sanitizing, organization, and presentation

Perform inventory management to keep the department fully stocked

Use and learn the POS system for customer transactions

Assist in training new team members as needed

Complete tasks assigned by store leadership

Ensure compliance with food safety, merchandising, and store standards
Skills & Qualifications

Ability to learn and maintain basic knowledge of all products in the nutrition department
