The Assistant Cheer and Stunt Coach will support the head coach in developing the foundation for the NCAA Division II Stunt program and building a program respected for its commitment to the mission and core values of Ferris State University which will begin competition in the 2025-26 academic year. The assistant coach will support all aspects of the Cheer and Stunt program. Position Type: Staff Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, Fitness or related program. Required Work Experience: One year of stunt, cheer, or gymnastics coaching experience at the professional, college or high school level; or three years of participation at professional or college level. Required Licenses and Certifications: Physical Demands: Office Environment Bending Moving Reaching Sitting Twisting Balancing Driving Lifting Pulling/Pushing Repetitive movement Standing Additional Education/Experiences to be Considered: Master's Degree is preferred Essential Duties/Responsibilities: • Assist the head coach with coaching and administrative duties for the Stunt and Cheer programs.
