Technical Customer Support Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Answering phone calls and emails to provide technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support teams.
- Responding to complex technical issues when first-line support is unable to resolve the problem.
- Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving malfunctions in equipment or software.
- Reporting issues and documenting cases accurately in Salesforce.
- Providing support for highly technical and sophisticated products used in the medical device industry.
- Engaging in customer training activities as needed to support product understanding and proper use.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to escalate and resolve product issues quickly and effectively.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of product lines and system updates to deliver informed technical assistance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience providing technical support in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-first mindset.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar case management tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience in the medical device industry or supporting medical equipment is preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, remote diagnostic tools, or ticketing platforms is a plus.
- Technical certifications or training in electronics, IT, or biomedical engineering is preferred.
