Engineering Technician

Key Responsibilities:
- Providing technical support to engineers and scientists across a range of development and testing projects.
- Developing and recommending procedures and methods to optimize technical operations and improve outcomes.
- Preparing technical reports and documentation to clearly communicate testing results, process changes, and recommendations.
- Performing technical evaluations of events or product issues to determine root cause and recommending corrective actions.
- Building additive manufacturing prototypes to support product development and innovation efforts.
- Removing support material from prototypes and ensuring proper post-processing techniques are applied.
- Maintaining additive manufacturing equipment and ensuring all machines operate efficiently and safely.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support engineering initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in engineering, technology, or a related field, or equivalent technical experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience working with tools, machinery, or manufacturing equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to conduct root cause analysis.
- Ability to follow technical procedures and documentation with a high attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable working independently and within a collaborative team environment.
- Experience with additive manufacturing (3D printing) technologies is preferred.
- Familiarity with CAD software or basic design tools is a plus.
- Prior experience in a regulated industry such as medical device or aerospace is preferred.
