Location: Rochester Hills
Looking for a self-driven Administrative Assistant to perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities to ensure efficient operation of the organization in a fast paced work environment. The scope includes and are not limited to communicating via phone and email ensuring that all administrative duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Communicating via phone and email ensuring that all administrative duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
- Track incoming and outgoing packages from main lobby desk, deliver as needed.
- Provide administrative support to the department during periods of reduced activity in lobby, including web-site updates, FQT reporting, services coordination, writing specifications, and card access programming
- Audit conference rooms and office areas on a daily basis and submit FQT’s as required.
- Monitor security cameras and manage emergency notifications as needed
- Assist in or support special events, meetings, and tours
- Support badge program for employees, contractors and students
- Support Message board at front desk
- Answer incoming calls
- SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organization and planning skills
- EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
- Associate Degree or equivalent clerical/administrative related experience.
- Minimum 2 years general business experience required.
- Experience in working with sales and engineers preferred
3. PHYSICAL EFFORT AND DEXTERITY
- Position involves desk work 100% of the time
4. VISUAL ACUITY, HEARING, SPEAKING
- Good visual acuity, hearing and speaking is required.
5. ENVIRONMENT AND SCHEDULING
- General office environment-main reception area
- Willing to work occasional overtime when required to meet special deadlines in response to customer requirements.
