PRIMARY FUNCTION: Program, test, and debug robotic systems.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Program, test, and debug robotic systems on the NRS floor.
2. Conduct testing to verify that robotic systems are operating appropriately
3. Travels to customer sites as needed to assist in the installation and repair of robotic systems
4. Keeps project team updated on project status and notifies them of all issues that arise
5. Presents a neat professional appearance while on the job. Maintains a positive attitude and interacts well with customers.
6. Ensures that documentation is updated when changes are made.
7. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
1. Three to five years of experience in robot programming or technical service roles.
2. Two year degree in electronics related or other technical curriculum preferred.
3. Ability to read electrical schematics demonstrated in departmental interview (electrical maintenance).
4. Ability to demonstrate basic understanding of ladder logic or completion of related course.
5. Diagnostic skills to troubleshoot problems and problem solving (Logic)
6. Ability to demonstrate patience and professionalism when dealing with customers.
7. Must have valid driver’s license, good driving record, credit card and able to obtain a passport and travel out of the country.
8. Must be willing to work overtime including weekends.
Physical Requirements: Work is performed in a shop or manufacturing plant environment requiring moderate physical effort, flexibility and bending. Incumbent is often exposed to hazardous equipment and chemicals. Travel, both domestic and international, is required.
