TITLE: Software Developer - Software Defined Vehicle (SDV)
DUTIES: Define, design, develop, test, verify, and continuously improve Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) architecture-based in-vehicle applications including Be Right Back, Teams and Tips and Tour and related applications features, for Ultifi software platform in Android operating system, in Java, Kotlin and Android programming languages, using Android Studio IDE, Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Artifactory, Jira, MS Azure, and Open Grok tools, following Android clean architecture practices. Develop and implement User Experience (UX) wireframes and interaction designs for Android applications. Follow Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) for future model year U.S. and global GM Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) (passenger car, truck and sport utility vehicle) to meet vehicle specific system, security, safety and encoding requirements. Ensure SDV-based Android applications support future GM innovations across a wide range of technological advancements including Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) and expanded automated and autonomous driving. Analyze and implement Android application use cases, software design
execution, and software verification including unit testing, Espresso testing and software integration testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Remote: This option does not require employee to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively. The employee’s role enables them to work off-site on a permanent basis.
REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Application, Electrical Engineering, or related field, and one (1) year of experience as a Developer, Engineer, Consultant, or related role. Must also have experience with: developing and implementing User Experience (UX) wireframes and interaction designs for in-vehicle or web applications based on user requirements, and analyzing, designing, performing unit testing, and deploying Java or JavaScript module.
