Engineer, develop and validate passenger vehicle Virtual Cockpit Unit (VCU) and Generic Video Module (GVM) electronic hardware including printed circuit boards (PCBs), housings, sensors, brackets, wiring harnesses, using Siemens NX and Xpedition tools, for current and future conventional ICE Global A and B and Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) platforms. Develop electrical analog and digital circuit schematics for touch screen display outputs, antennas, printed circuit boards (PCBs) including power supply, microcontrollers, RAM memory, NAND memory, Class D audio amplifiers, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, camera outputs, display circuits, and automotive audio bus (ASB), using Mentor Graphics, Cadence, and Zuken tools. Develop circuits and module for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi functionality. Ensure Global A and B vehicle and BEV infotainment systems design solutions developed by Tier I/II suppliers comply with General Motors Worldwide engineering standards as defined in GMW3172, General specification for electrical/electronic components - environmental/durability. Participate in VCU and GVM system production release, tooling kickoff, and Integration Vehicle Engineering Release (IVER) vehicle build activities.
