Engineer and release GM HYDROTEC GEN3 hydrogen Fuel Cell System (FCS) Converter Power Inverter Module (CP1M) power electronic component, including housings, printed circuit board (PCB), high and low voltage connectors, and integration with Power Converter Sensing Module (PCSM). Define and develop CPIM product requirements, develop and execute designs, and analyze CAE results for vehicle level components. Engineer, design, develop, and release, using Teamcenter, Vismockup, and Engineering Change Management (ECM) tools, heavy duty truck Fuel Cell Power Cube (FCPC), according to the GM Global Vehicle Development Process (GVDP) and to meet all dimensional, electrical, regulatory (crash) and timing requirements. Interface with vehicle development teams from Electrical, Manufacturing, Validation Engineering, Purchasing, and System Vehicle. Employ engineering tools such as Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Design Review Based on Failure Mode (DRBFM), and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), to analyze and report on product engineering designs to meet GM manufacturing requirements and vehicle assembly processes.
