Perform post-crash electrical integrity (PCEI) electrical bench and virtual testing using simulation tools using dSPACE, ETAS INCA, Vehicle Spy and Teamcenter tools, to analyze end-to-end (E2E) ICE passenger vehicle, Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV), and Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) functionality of safety crashworthiness requirements for crash events including structural and occupant performance requirements based on U.S. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) No. 214 Side Impact Protection, No. 208 Occupant Crash Protection, and 301 rear offset impact, New Car Assessment Program (NCAP), United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) automotive safety regulations, Australian Design Rules (ADRs), Insurance Institute of Highway Safety (IIHS) metrics, and internal GM standards, across passenger vehicle programs and test scenarios. Plan and execute PCEI confirmation tests and forensic engineering to confirm root cause analyses (RCAs) and solution sets. Recreate crash collision scenarios using engineering forensics from barrier tests and real-life events. Define, specify, and execute safety-related electrical system development and validation plans (VALPs) and validate vehicle electrical safety systems performance.
