Create and integrate Hardware in the Loop (HIL) real time environments to enable verification and validation of Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) and Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) embedded Vehicle Integration Control Module (VICM) and features including AC/DC Charging, Cell Monitoring Unit (CMU), Wireless Communication, Contactor Control, BEVHeat, in Embedded C and Python programming languages, using MATLAB, Simulink, Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Artifactory, Vector CANalyzer, Vehicle Spy, ETAS INCA, dSPACE ControlDesk, and IBM Rational Team Concert (RTC) tools, and neoVI FIRE2 and Lauterbach Trace 32 hardware. Create complete vehicle simulation plant models, vehicle dynamics and physics in Simulink software and integrate exported S-Function in Simulink environment. Use Simulink, Simscape and GT-Suite tools to adapt Rechargeable Energy Storage System (RESS or Battery Pack), BEVHeat (thermal system), and other Electronic Control Unit (behavioral) simulation models and integrate with plant models including Transmission, Electric Drive Unit (DU), Power Inverter, and Vehicle Dynamics.
