As a Key Account Coordinator, you would be the direct interface between customers, service, sales, PPM team and logistics to support TRUMPF equipment at large Key Account customer locations with operations throughout North America. Key Account Coordinator Responsibilities
Be a primary technical contact for a key account customer, as the go-to person for a variety of technical needs - in environments ranging from R&D to 24/7 manufacturing operations.
Review product SOCs (sales order confirmation) to prepare and determine onsite needs. Work with spare parts and logistics teams to coordinate machine delivery schedule, installation relevant parts and installation equipment including necessary tools delivery prior to FSE (Field Service Engineer) arrival.
Provide customers with pre-installation checklists, confirm site preparedness prior to FSE arrival.
Work closely with the Product & Project Management team (PPM) to align installation schedule, prioritize equipment, define scope of work, and confirm site preparedness prior to FSE arrival.
Keep lines of communication open with customers and colleagues regarding potential delays, missing parts, issues etc. needed personnel capacity and scheduling.
Conduct on-site pre-installation meetings with customers in the US, CA and MX as necessary, and visit ongoing installations to ensure quality, work is performed to TRUMPF standards, and issues are resolved.
Provide continuity of support for the key account customer on technical topics beyond installation and startup. Directly support (or directly coordinate internal TRUMPF resources to support) TRUMPF products applied in the customers operations. Be a consistent and familiar resource to the customer, across sites and programs.
Ensure all equipment acceptance protocols are followed. Keep internal documentation systems up to date.
Develop working relationships with customers engineers and keep up with trends at the key account customer at HQ, Tech Center, and Plants. Support activities such as standards and standard practices development, equipment configurations, IT requirements, and other aspects as it relates to TRUMPF equipment at their site.
Be a voice of the customer - taking the lead, showing initiative, being creative, and finding solutions for questions or issues that come up in customer's use of TRUMPF products in their operations. Whether it is mundane everyday topics, or challenging never-seen-before situations, be responsible and persistent in driving resolution.
This role supports customers in manufacturing, some of whom have 24/7 operations. The person in this role would be on the rotating schedule of FSEs on-call for phone support (dispatched by our 24/7 hotline at HQ).
Must be able to work flexible schedules to include weekends and/or holidays as necessary.
Travel
100% travel both domestically and internationally for training or customer support purposes
Must maintain Valid Driver's License
Education & Experience
Two-year technical degree or two or more years of experience in project management, field service, repair or customer service preferred.
Electrical and computer systems experience.
Previous experience with robotics, lasers, automation systems or mechatronics preferred.
Experience with TRUMPF equipment considered advantageous.
Previous experience with hand tools and measurement tools required
Must have strong problem-solving and excellent organization skills
