Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic Product Development Team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing both products and manufacturing processes to meet high-quality standards, cost objectives, and production goals. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on innovative projects, leveraging advanced technologies, and contributing directly to the success and growth of our company.
As a key member of the Product Development Team, the Manufacturing Engineer will collaborate closely with design, production, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability of new products, streamline existing processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires a creative problem-solver with a passion for innovation and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
Required Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred.
3+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).
Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality, to develop new products from concept to production.
Create detailed mechanical designs, 3D models, and engineering drawings using CAD software as needed.
Conduct feasibility studies, cycle time studies, OEE analysis, capacity studies, stress analyses, and simulations to ensure product reliability and performance as required by project.
Develop prototypes and oversee testing to validate designs and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Identify and resolve design issues throughout the development process.
Optimize designs for manufacturability and cost-efficiency.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, materials, and technologies to drive innovation.
Prepare and present technical reports, documentation, and presentations to stakeholders.
