Job Summary:
The Region Productivity Operations Manager III is responsible for management of overall Outage Cost Productivity and Project Controls for their assigned sub-region. Will lead a team of Project Controls Analysts to drive real time outage reporting related to Cost, Hours, OTD and Escalation. This role is assigned a sub-regional cost out target and is also responsible for managing key metrics for outage Planning, Execution and Closeout for both Productivity, Operations and Project Controls, partnering with both Regional Service Manager and Service Directors. This position will ensure the assigned outages are optimized by deep diving into the number of resources, shift patterns, tooling, productivity projects, standards versus estimates, JCE and actuals, etc. This position will also travel to sites during the outages to facilitate Lean Action Workouts, Pit Crew execution and overall delivery of a world class outage.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead the overall sub-regional organization of Project Control Analysts, ensuring world class support and building a robust recruitment and succession plan.
Responsible for overall Productivity and Project Controls rhythms, KPI's and Metrics in their respective sub-region; including the SII outage cost out op plan build for both the CS and TX Business units.
Partner with both the sub-region Service Director and Service Managers within FieldCore's region to provide support on outage cost productivity and Project Controls.
Review and understand the work scope of every outage through a detailed outage planning process; driving consistency on the 3-month Operations Schedule and Cost Review thorough the Post Outage Review, leading meaningful reviews for each assigned outage
Utilize data from post outage reviews to make strategic recommendations for outage execution performance to the regions during the planning process
Make site visits to lead Lean Action Work Outs and support with critical outages
Assist the optimization of job cost estimates (JCE) and Man-load schedules using Primavera as appropriate to understand idle time and productivity opportunities.
Review the bid document to ensure appropriate productivity measures have been accounted for
Ensure Implementation and execution of Top Programs on all applicable sites and quantifies the results and track programs commitment vs. execution for best practices/lessons learned
Apply project planning methodology and enforces a productivity focus in rigorous weekly execution rhythms
Ensure PCA's are trained and equipped to delivery world class reporting, monitor their metrics and drive results
Understand outage risk landscape and escalate PCA reporting Outage Performance Updates as required to keep key stakeholders apprised
Develop cost and OTD remediating actions for outages that are escalated during execution
Monitor and remediate outages that demand more resources than planned in the final JCE
Quantify productivity on a granular level in both hours and dollars for executive report out
Deliver targeted cost out operating plan
Develop and implement productivity training
Work with the sourcing department on vendor qualifications/management/optimization to minimize sourcing costs
Identify overall Inefficiencies and find Productivity Gains
Travel required

Required Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in related field with minimum five years of Field Engineer or Project management experience; additional years' experience in power generation can be substituted for degree
10+ years of leadership level experience in a global/complex environment
5+ years of managing and developing employees
4+ years of experience in power generation and field services
Heavy Duty Gas Turbine and/or Steam Turbine Experience required
Primavera experience
English proficiency required
Desired Characteristics:
Master's degree Preferred
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent communication and management skills and strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with all levels of employees
Expertise in power generation outage maintenance
Strong project planning and organizational skills
Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently/very results-oriented
Work well both independently and in a team environment (capable of being managed remotely and managing remote, indirect reports)
Ability to travel including internationally 50% of the time
Compensation and Benefits:
The annual salary range for this position is $101,700 to $167,700. This is an exempt from overtime position.
