About this Opportunity
As a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) Specialist, you'll provide specialist support to the HR function and/or oversee HR responsibilities and activities for your assigned client group. You will respond to HR-related inquiries from employees and management and provide policy and procedure guidance.

Act as a consultant and business partner to employees/leaders by understanding their unique needs and providing counsel on programs and practices in support of those objectives.
Collaborate with internal and external business partners to support cross-group initiatives and lead special project initiatives.
Develop a plan for remediation alongside an employee's Work Team Leader and Manager following investigation.
Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues and responding to requests and questions promptly.
Investigate employee complaints relating to harassment and discrimination, creating thorough documentation of employee investigations and providing documentation to required parties.
Lead HR-focused trainings and presentations for your client group.
Learn and maintain a working knowledge of your client group's business operations and needs.
Partner with HRBPs and COEs to recruit, hire, and onboard new employees.
Proactively maintain your knowledge of current trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in HR.
Provide data analytics and reporting to support your group's business strategies.
Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.
Sound Like You?
You might be just who we're looking for if you have . . .
A Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or Operations-related fields, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
A professional HR Certification, i.e., SHRM, HRCI (preferred).
Three years of HR experience with proficient knowledge of employment/labor laws.
A strong employee relations background (preferred).
The ability to coach others and provide skill development where necessary.
The ability to interpret and correctly react to people, incidences, or situations that are open to misunderstanding due to cultural differences.
The ability to follow-through and follow-up with internal parties to see complex issues through to resolution.
The ability to effectively partner with internal business partners to achieve strategic goals.
The ability to deal with changing priorities, tight deadlines, and multiple projects.
The ability to maintain confidential data with the highest level of integrity.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience developing and maintaining professional working relationships built on trust.
The ability to identify problems/issues, develop conclusions, and make recommendations for effective business actions, and to deal with complex issues to implement optimal solutions.
The ability to use the office automation, communication, software, and tools in the Herman Miller office environment.
The ability to accomplish desired objectives and outcomes by influencing individuals at all levels.
The ability to complete assignments with a high degree of accuracy under tight deadlines.
The ability to perform all essential job functions of the position with or without accommodations.
