The Graphic Designer provides creative direction and expertise to all tasks and/or projects within the Marketing and Communications Department under the scope of established Brand Standards with a focus on support of institutional vision and goals. Graphic Designer produces high-quality designs across all mediums – print, outdoor, promotional, direct mail, email, social, web-based, motion/animated, etc. – in support of recruitment, retention, revenue generation, fundraising, public relations and brand awareness. Duties also include general understanding and application of marketing principles and writing and editing, from general ad copy to storyboarding for video and/or infographics. This position works collaboratively within the Marketing and Communications Department, as well as with stakeholders and vendors both within and external to the institution. The Graphic Designer reports to the Director of Marketing.
