Summary: Lansing Community College's Technical Careers Division is seeking a full-time professional support for their Trades Technology Programs. This position is responsible for assisting the Program Director in ensuring the successful daily operation of the Trades Technology Labs including, but are not limited to: Material handling, purchasing and maintaining lab consumables and supplies, equipment oversight and maintenance as well as providing assistance in maintaining clean and safe laboratory environments. This position is also responsible for annual equipment change out, maintaining vendor relations, organizing and maintaining cold storage, room safety and oversight, staying current on the latest industry equipment and standards, and providing oversight of work assignments/projects for PT Lab Assistants and student employees. Additionally, this position will assist the Program Director by working with faculty and staff on various components of course management responsibilities including ensuring accreditation standards are met, resources are available to ensure appropriate course outcomes, as well as working to develop methods to expand programs and increase student enrollment while maintaining program quality.
