Connecting these values, this position will assist the Director of Admissions/Registrar in the administration, planning, and delivery of all processes, policies and procedures in the Admissions, Registration and Records office by ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and institutional requirements to maintain eligibility, access, and continued participation in the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), Higher Learning Commission (HLC), and other State or Federal requirements
Supervise and provide direction, expectations, and leadership to the Admissions & Records Specialists. This position is responsible for ensuring the Academic Record Specialists are timely and accurately processing admissions applications, registration requests, change of program requests, dual enrollment forms, enrollment verifications, subpoena requests, consortium, student identification change requests, etc. Identify and resolve critical customer service needs through on-going communication, training, and collaboration with other student service areas.
Under the direction of the Registrar, this position will operationalize strategic initiatives and identified College policy(s) through the establishment and implementation and/or revision of procedures. Additionally, this position will stay current on changes to federal law which pertain to the maintenance and security of college records, and student privacy rights (FERPA). Ensuring and maintaining the department’s compliance with the Higher Learning Commission Assumed Practices and applicable Core Standards is also expected.
