Prototype Garage Mechanic (SBU)
Work to be performed consists of General Mechanic Knowledge
Diagnostic of all vehicle systems, Engine/Transmission changes, Electrical diagnostics, and re-works to adapt engineering changes
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years' experience in Auto Service
Possess basic computer skills: MS Office, Teams, Etc.
Diagnostic tool capability (CDA, Canalyzer, etc.) wire harness fabrication and rework, reading of schematics, utilize OWN tools
Able to work in team environment
Strong emphasis on excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and teamwork
Valid Driver's License, No Physical Restrictions
Preferred Qualifications:
S.E. certified
Strong background in Fabrication
Strong background in EV vehicle diagnostics
Minimum of 3 years of auto dealership service experience
Two-year technical degree in electronics, experience servicing vehicles
Able to work Overtime and potential travel
