Job Summary
The Tool Room Attendant / Warehouse Counter Associate supports daily warehouse, inventory, and internal customer service operations. This hands-on role involves locating and preparing requested parts, tools, and supplies, assisting customers at the service counter, receiving inventory, and maintaining an organized storeroom. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and willing to learn product and inventory information quickly. Forklift operation is not required.
Job Responsibilities
Pull and prepare items requested for pickup.
Assist internal customers at the service counter.
Locate parts, tools, supplies, and other requested inventory.
Verify incoming inventory and stock items in designated locations.
Maintain accurate and organized inventory records.
Read and follow work orders accurately.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe storeroom environment.
Provide professional and responsive customer service.
Learn product and inventory information to effectively assist internal customers.
Work independently and manage assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
Support warehouse and inventory activities across multiple locations as needed.
Follow established attendance, safety, security, and workplace procedures.
Job Requirements
Minimum 6 months of recent, stable work experience.
At least 6 months of customer service experience.
Strong attendance, punctuality, reliability, and work ethic.
Ability to learn product information and inventory processes quickly.
Ability to read and follow work orders and instructions accurately.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation required.
Basic computer and data entry skills preferred.
Previous warehouse or inventory experience preferred.
Experience working with parts, tools, supplies, or similar inventory preferred.
Ability to maintain professional conduct and follow workplace policies.
Work Experience
Minimum 6 months of recent, stable work experience required.
At least 6 months of customer service experience required.
Warehouse, inventory, parts, tools, or supply experience preferred.
