Position Summary: Monitors all chemicals, maintains proper viscosity/PH, mixes inks, maintains chillers, paper roll handling, and consumption of raw materials. Assists during make-readies, as well as assisting Operators as needed. Maintains a clean and safe work environment.

This position participates in Press make readies, is actively involved with machine preventative maintenance, roll tag process, Cold Foil roll tending, and other duties as assigned.

Shipping and Receiving for: setting paper down, setting ink supplies off racks, taking away recycle gaylords when called for.
Operators for: directions and general guidance
Supervisors: help with consumption issues, help with scheduling, help with ink/paper questions, work assignments
Qualifications:
Education Required: High School Diploma or GED. Mechanical Aptitude Test score of no less than 38.
License/Certification Required: N/A
Experience Required: This is an entry level position in the pressroom. Printing, general manufacturing, and tool handling experience are and asset.

Physical Demands:
- Handling 20 – 25 lbs. anilox sleeves, 15 – 20 lbs. plate sleeves, 45-50 lbs. pails of ink, and drums of ink up to 650 lbs.
- At times the individual can be seated for extended periods of time
- AT times the individual may be walking or standing for extended periods of time.
- Must wear steel toe shoes, hearing protection and other PPE as required
- Must be able to lift, push or pull 50lbs
Environment:
Work with chemicals, mix inks, exposure to fumes from solvents, and constant machine sounds during daily work shift.
