Join us!\n\nEssential Functions:Reasonableaccommodationmay be made to enable individuals with disabilities to performtheessential duties.\n\n * Lead and coordinate schoolwide community engagement initiatives for students and families.\n\n * Develop a consistent calendar of in-person outings, virtual events, family activities, and other opportunities for connection throughout the school year.\n\n * Identify new and creative ways to increase student and family participation in the MGLVA community.\n\n * Collaborate across grade bands and departments to ensure engagement opportunities are accessible and relevant to families throughout the school.\n\n * Serve as a visible and welcoming point of connection for students and families at school-sponsored events and activities.\n\n * Build relationships with families and gather feedback to better understand their interests, needs, and barriers to participation.\n\n * Support efforts to strengthen family belonging, connection, satisfaction, and long-term engagement with MGLVA.\n\n * Help promote upcoming events and engagement opportunities through appropriate school communication channels.\n\n * Support and help maintain MGLVA's presence on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LC Community, and other approved communication channels.\n\n * Capture and share positive stories, activities, celebrations, and experiences that highlight the MGLVA school community.\n\n * Partner with school leadership and appropriate teams to support marketing and school visibility initiatives that naturally align with community engagement.\n\n * Encourage staff participation in identifying and sharing stories that showcase student success, family engagement, and the MGLVA experience.\n\n * Track participation and engagement trends to help evaluate the effectiveness of events and initiatives and identify opportunities for improvement.\n\n * Serve as a champion for school culture, helping ensure that students and families experience MGLVA as a connected community rather than simply an online academic program.\n\nMINIMUMREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: \n\n * Bachelor's degree in education, Counseling,HumanServicesor related field of study AND\n\n * Two (2) years of experience work with families in a similar capacity, developing parent mentors/Learning Coaches, and/orfacilitatingcommunity involvement OR\n\n * Equivalent combination of education and experience\n\n * Ability to clear required background check.\n\nOTHER REQUIREDQUALIFICATIONS: \n\n * Familiarity with online learningenvironment;\n\n * Strong organizations and time managementskills;\n\n * Strong written and verbal communicationskills;\n\n * Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visit, etc.); Webproficiency;\n\n * Ability to travel 20% of thetime \n\n * Three (3) years of experience working with families in a similar capacity, developing parent mentors/parent training, and/orfacilitatingcommunityinvolvement\n\nCompensation and benefitsStride, Inc. considers a person's education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work,requiredtravel (if any), external market and internal value whendetermininga new employee's salary level.
